Written part: In the course you first need to pass the written exam. There will be two midterms. A minimum of 25 points on each of them, and a combined total of 100 points on both midterms is a passing grade for the written exam. The alternative are written exams at the end of the term. The grades for the written part will be assigned according to the following rule regardless of whether you achieved a passing grade through midterms of through the written exam: 50-59 points (6), 60-69 points (7), 70-79 points (8), 80-89 points (9), 90-120 points (10). You can always retake the exam if you wish to improve your grade. There is no risk in retaking exams. The best result will be the basis for your grade.

Oral exam and the final grade: Once you have a passing grade on the written exam there will be an oral examination. Your grade on the written exam can either improve by 1, or stay the same.
